Round 5 at Surfers Paradise Geoghegan and Moffat battled for 7 laps with the lead changing 12 tines, until Mofat spun on wet grass which allowed Geoghegan to take 2nd palce behind Brock. In this Classic Carlectables replica you can see the 265ci Hemi Engine is a well replicated engine and surrounding bay has an outstanding level of detail. The "Small Tank" Charger 68I fuel tank was a big size reduction from the 160L "Big Tank"

    This Exoto model is in mint condition, although some wearing the box. Jean-Louis Schlesser, heading up the all-French driver line-up in car #62, put the Sauber-Mercedes C9 on pole with a blistering qualifying lap. The pole had actually been gained using a special qualifying chassis and engine. Thanks to a loophole in the regulations, this special chassis, wearing #62, had been officially entered in the race but was used only for qualifying, to be replaced by a race chassis and engine that had been designated as the 'T' car.
