Throughout his life Elvis® was known for his generosity to family, friends and even strangers. His love of Cadillacs symbolized his meteoric rise to fame and was the ultimate gift he could give. In 1955 he bought a pink Cadillac Fleetwood for his mother, a car that he would keep his entire life.
One day in 1975 Elvis purchased 14 Cadillacs in Memphis, giving them away to members of his entourage and even to a woman who was at the dealership shopping for a new car.
