The gruelling, 3 hour long Trans Am races of the late 1960's tested both cars and drivers to their limits Bud Moore's team of 1969, including drivers Parnelli Jones and George Follmer, put together a new Boss 302 Mustang, fitted with the best engine of the series - and put the mustangs out front. 1969 is remembered for the metal bending, no-love-lost races between Jones and his rival, Mark Donahue driving a Chevrolet. These two drivers went head-to-head in almost every one of the 12 races which were contested that year.
