1:43 TRAX - 1957 Chrysler Royal AP1 Sedan in Rustic Tan/Salmon TSS06
After many years of use in the US, the name Chrysler Royal was introduced into Australia in 1957 with the designation AP1 for Australian Plymouth. Offered in either a four door sedan Royal, four door wagon Plainsman and a two door coupe utility Wayfarer, the models were an instant success. The V8 powered Royals were a popular choice of the South Australian Police with their Highway Patrol of the time, while most customers bought the car with either the 230 cu manual or the 250 cu Powerflite 2-speed automatic. This model depicts the 1958 colour scheme with one overall colour and a separate matching colour for the side flash and roof.
