The "Taste of France" series features the interesting 1947 'H' type Citroen van. Developed in France, the 'H' type featured a 1911cc engine and three speed gearbox. Designed for large capacity (35 cwt.) the cargo area allowed a man of 6 ft. to stand upright. This resulted in many of the major trading companies using the vehicle extensively. Evian, the world's best selling water, is displayed on the corrugated sides of the Citroen and is the first in the "Taste of France" series. Evian natural spring water is a world renowned French brandname. First enjoyed in 1789 in Evian-les-Bains at the base of the French Alps, it was not until 1905 that major export began. The familiar logo of snow capped alps is symbolic of the purity that has made Evian famous.
