Historical Significance
Originally set to be driven by Stirling Moss at the 1962 Goodwood Easter Monday Trophy Race, the car was sidelined after Moss’s near-fatal accident that weekend. It later raced at Silverstone with Masten Gregory, finishing 2nd in the “International Scalextric Trophy.” The car resurfaced at Goodwood in 1998 and 1999 for Moss’s 70th birthday celebration.
