1:43 Classic Carlectables Holden FJ Ute Following on the FX Holden ute came the FJ released in October 1953. With a price of 969GBP (42GBP less than the FX), the FJ was an immediate success with commercial operators. Softer seats, arm rests and improved suspension and handling made this new model very popular with the delivery drivers. This model is derived from the original Perry Motors ute and would have delivered electrical appliances to many households in the early 1960's. Perry Motors ceased trading in the early 1960's and Gleeson Holden are now the Holden dealer in Leongatha, Victoria. The original Holden colour of this vehicle was Haze Blue with matching Horizon Blue interior.
