Almost 6 years after producing the slow-selling TR28E in Bathurst 1000 'warpaint', Trax revisited its 1990s success with road-going representations of the SS Torana Hatchback. The TR28F edition was produced in SS guise - fitted with an A9X-style bonnet scoop and wheel-arch flares but without the underslung 'drop' fuel tank used on A9X releases. The colour was most unusual - a blue-green shade called 'Aquarius' that was offered by Holden only on cars built during 1976.
