1:43 Trax 1948 Holden 48/215 'FX' Sedan - Glacier Green 60th Anniversary - TR15E

SKU
TR15E

The Golden Age of Australian Motoring began in 1948 with the launch of the fist truly Australian car. General Motors Holden led the way, followed by Ford and Chrysler and later the ill-fated Leyland. Until the advent of the "World Car"., where major manufacturers created one vehicle design to suit many countries. Australian makers turned out a host of original designs which, in the main, were unique to Australia. In the bush, in the city, on the racetrack, folklore grew up around these original Aussie Cars.

No gold plating to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of 'Australia's Own Car', just a stock-standard sedan in Glacier Green and packaged with a special Anniversary display card. Ten years after Trax had produced 20,000 of the 'Golden' FX to celebrate Holden's half-century, the TR15E release was limited to just 3,000 units and sold out very quickly.
