Trax No. 8001R, No. 67 in the 1955 Redex Trial, was such a huge sales success that it was decided to produce another 'Trial' FJ sedan. By this time contact had been made with 'Possum' Kipling who very generously made available his records and photographs. From these, "Possum's" 1954 Redex Trial entry No. 127 was chosen.
