The much maligned Holden panel van is perhaps one of the most famous icons from the Golden Age of Australia Motoring. Now Trax is delighted to bring back the Holden panel van, together with an equally famous motoring name, the NRMA Road Service. The NRMA placed its faith in Holden Vans for their robust construction and ability to carry all the equipment demanded of a 'mobile workshop.' The HZ version is powered by a 202 engine with a 3-speed automatic transmission and was first used by the NRMA in 1977. Even today this vehicle can still be seen in service throughout many rural centres across New South Wales. The sight of an approaching NRMA Van provides stranded motorists with a welcome sign of relief and the confidence in knowing that they will be soon on their way again.
