1:43 Trax 1948 Holden 48/215 'FX' Sedan - Redex Trial 1953 TR15C

SKU
TR15C

In early 1999 Trax took a different tack with the 48-215, launching a Redex edition based on the car driven in the 1953 Trial by famous racer Lex Davison. A nice touch to this model was the cutting of twin driving lights into the front bumper mould.

The Golden Age of Australian Motoring began in 1948 with the launch of the fist truly Australian car. General Motors Holden led the way, followed by Ford and Chrysler and later the ill-fated Leyland. Until the advent of the "World Car"., where major manufacturers created one vehicle design to suit many countries. Australian makers turned out a host of original designs which, in the main, were unique to Australia. In the bush, in the city, on the racetrack, folklore grew up around these original Aussie Cars.
