Also known as the "TCM Javelin" the original 1972 has gone through a massive reconstruction, sporting its new colours, dark grey and the original green. The gearbox was replaced with one used in the very same cars that race for NASCAR with a Chrysler block.
The car had left handed steering, just to be different in Australian racing. This particular car qualifies as unusual, especially here in Australia.
Jim knows more about his car than a lot of drivers, simply because he's been hands-on with the build. Him was more than confident about the end result of the Javelin.
The new and improved Javelin featured amog a 35 car grid for the Touring Car Masters Season Opener at the Clipsal 500 in Adelaide after its crash at Sandown in 2010.
