This is a 1:72 scale diecast metal model by Forces of Valor of the WWII German Panzer 38 ( t ) tank.
Features Include:
A Czechoslovakian tank adopted and modified by the Germans in WWII, the Panzer 38(t) featured riveted armour, a rear mounted engine and a 37 mm main gun. It also wielded a pair of 7.92 mm machine guns. Easy to maintain and very reliable in the field, the Panzer 38(t) was manufactured by the Germans until the middle of WWII when its small turret would be incapable of mounting the larger guns necessary to destroy the latest and it became the more heavily armoured allied tank of the time. The 7th Panzer Division (also known as the ‘Ghost Division’) included the 25th Panzer Regiment. Several of its companies commanded Panzer 38(t)s during Nazi Germany’s ‘Operation Barbarossa’ --- the epic invasion of Russia’s eastern front, ultimately repelled by an indefatigable Red Army.
