The TRUX TX8 Fire Tanker was introduced in the summer of 2005 and was initially available in a collector's edition. In the days when these vehicles were being converted to fire-fighting duties there was no particular standard for bushfire tanker design and vehicles like this one were often bought and equipped by local brigade members.
