A huge chunk of New South Wales public transport history was encapsulated in the late 2006 release of TX5C. This model was based on the last open-platform double decker built in Australia and was the last double-deck Government bus to operate in the Newcastle area. Painted in the 1970's colours of blue and cream, this Leyland OPD2 is depicted as it ran on Route 380 to the developing suburb of Cardiff. The actual bus survives and is displayed in Sydney's Powerhouse Museum.
